Degradation of Lithium-Ion Batteries in an Electric Transport Complex

The article provides an overview and comparative analysis of various types batteries, including the most modern type—lithium-ion batteries. Currently, lithium-ion batteries (LIB) are widely used in electrical complexes systems, as a traction battery for electric vehicles. Increasing service life storage devices today is important scientific technical problem due to their rapid wear tear high cost. This discusses main approaches methods researching LIB resource. First all, detailed causes degradation was carried out processes occurring during charging, discharging, resting difficult operating conditions were established. Then, factors influencing determined: charging discharging currents, self-discharge current, temperature, number cycles, discharge depth, range charge level, etc. when simulating real motion process. work considers management systems (BMS) that take into account compensate influence considered.
